Strongest discipline
"Your swim is your edge — you're exiting the water ahead of 72% of your age group. Keep that lead on the bike."
Biggest lever
"Your run is where you're leaving the most time on the table. A 5% improvement there would gain you 8 minutes."
Transition efficiency
"T1 is fast at 1:42. T2 at 2:31 is 45s slower than your AG median — that's low-hanging fruit."
Pacing patterns
"You're pacing well off the bike, but fading in the last 5K. Consider a more conservative first half of the run."

Insights are generated based on your actual race data and age-group benchmarks.

Race Intelligence

AI coaching insights from your race data

Your swim is your strongest discipline relative to age group — you're in the top 35%. Maintain current volume and focus on race-day pacing.

Bike split is 2:14 slower than your PB. Check if the Nice course elevation cost you time, or if nutrition faltered after 60 km.

Run pacing was negative-split: first half 5:14/km, second half 5:02/km — excellent execution under fatigue.

T1 + T2 combined at 5:20 is solid. Shaving 30s here is possible with elastic laces and a faster mount line.

Age Group

"I finished my first 70.3 and had no idea if my bike was good or my run cost me 20 places. The results page was just numbers."

That frustration led to RaceWiser. We're a small team of age-group triathletes who believe every finisher deserves to understand their race — not just their time.

Every feature exists because we needed it ourselves. We race the same courses, face the same doubts, and chase the same PRs as you. This isn't a corporate product — it's built by athletes who care.

FAQ

Common questions

Just your race name, date, distance format, finish time, and split times. You can enter everything manually in under a minute, upload a finisher certificate, or import a FIT activity file from Garmin.

Training logs and Strava track workouts and activities. RaceWiser analyzes race-day performance — where you gain and lose time versus your age group, how you compare to elites, what your strongest discipline is, and how you're progressing race over race. It's race intelligence, not training data.

Yes — unlimited races, full split analysis with pace and distance data, personal best tracking, completely free. No credit card, no trial period. Pro adds age-group benchmarks, elite comparisons, and AI coaching insights.

Sprint, Olympic, Half (70.3), and Ironman. RaceWiser understands format differences and normalizes comparisons so you can track progress even across different distances.

Age-group benchmarks are based on 10,000+ ranked athletes from World Triathlon. Elite comparisons use aggregated data from the top 25 professional athletes per format.

Age-Groupers are amateur triathletes who compete in 5-year brackets (e.g., M30-34, F40-44) — they're the heart of triathlon, racing for personal goals and finish lines. Elites are professional triathletes competing at an international level. RaceWiser lets you compare your performance against both: see where you rank in your age group, and measure the gap to world-class pros.

Passionate age-group triathletes, just like you. RaceWiser was born from our own frustration with scattered race data and lack of meaningful analysis tools. Every feature exists because we needed it ourselves.

RaceWiser is designed for completed races with full split times. DNF races can't be analyzed because the analysis requires swim, bike, and run times to calculate pacing, percentages, and comparisons. For incomplete races, we recommend keeping notes in your regular training log.

Yes — every race has a shareable link you can send to training partners, coaches, or post on social media.

Go to your Garmin Connect multisport activities, open your race activity, click the gear icon (⚙), and select "Export Original" or "Export to FIT". This downloads the .FIT file which you can then upload to RaceWiser. On mobile, tap the three dots menu (⋮) and select "Export Original".
